RV Lifestyle Thoughts
I now have a truck payment. As I mentioned in my monthly net worth update, I bought a 2021 F150 XLT with all the fancy luxury options. I paid a hair less than $39K, and my payment is $647 a month. I have thought about paying it off fast, as I had the cash to pay it off, but the APR I was approved for is less than 6%, and I know I can earn 10% in the market and earn around 4% on my cash. Still trying to decide, but for now I think I will keep the debt. The more I have thought about it, though, the more I am not sure I should count the truck stuff into the RV costs. Because, likely even if I moved into an apartment or a house, I would want to keep a truck. I enjoy riding in a truck and can afford the extra costs that come with it. Maybe if I had a massive, expensive truck to pull a huge RV, I would look at it differently because there is a huge difference in a $100K diesel truck vs my F150 for $40K. I’m up in the air about it, but the more I thought about it, the more I liked the idea of taking off the truck stuff on this tracker.
Nothing new for this month, as I was in Key West for the entire month. But next month’s write-up will be back to doing small renovations on the RV and fixing things lol.
It’s just another month in the RV adventure life.
In case you missed it, here is last month’s breakdown. Keep on the journey and path!
