    Inside Tour Of Our RV

    June 19, 2020

I think it’s about time we shared the inside of what our RV looks like. I can tell you right now it does not look like something out of a magazine where no one lives in it. It looks like a place that we live in so everything is not perfectly organized and you might see some big dogs in the pictures lol. But hey I’m not going to be one of those “influencers” who post pictures of their trendy places with a candle and that perfect throw pillow that they never use. That shit used to make me jealous now it makes me want to vomit. Because I now realize that is a bullshit lie and is just there for the wagon wheel highlights that they choose to share vs the real deal.

The real raw deal for us is living in this 32 foot RV with our two Great Danes not because we have to but because we choose too.

Sometimes I wish we had a bigger setup yet realize I don’t really have the need for it at this time. We honestly have everything we need or could want with this setup. Maybe down the line, we might upgrade to a drivable one and something with a little bit more room. But who knows for now I got one hell of a deal on this and it’s been a blast so far.

    Living Room/Dining Area

Our RV has a pull out in this area. This simply means that with a click of a button it opens up and slides out creating more space. We have storage boxes in a self to keep things organized and keep everything fairly well put away. There are storage shelves and cabinets all over and a good size closet as soon as you walk in. We use the cabinets mainly for dry good foods like cans, rice, beans, and whatever other food we get that does not need to be in the fridge. One of my favorite new additions is the world map. We had a 40inch flat screen tv that was going to go there but we never watched tv so the map is a much better value for us.

    Bathroom

Not much to say here it’s a bathroom with a toilet, shower, few shelves and has our washer in there. So there is no sink in our bathroom, the prior owner took it out and replaced it with a washer. I was unsure if I would like that or not. But after living in the RV for over 4 months now I love having the washer. It saves us so much money and we just air dry our clothes. The shower is actually a good size and I have zero issues with the room and the water is super hot!! I did run out of hot water once but that was my fault for using it before the tank was full.

    Kitchen

The kitchen surprisingly is a perfect size and has a stove, microwave and we have an upgraded commercial fridge. The stove runs on propane while the fridge is only electric. Most RV fridges can use either electricity or propane to run them. Since ours is an upgraded one it is only electric. We have cabinets above for all our dishes and pans. We also have a big storage area under the sink for cleaning supplies and bags.

    Bedroom

Our bedroom has a queen-size bed and two small closets on each side of the bed. There are draws at the bottom end of the bed and a nice shelf above the bed. It’s plenty of room for us.

That is the inside of our home. While it may not be the biggest space or the most magazine ready it’s more than enough for us and we love the flexibility it gives us. Not to mention how much I am saving because of this lifestyle. Seriously all our living expenses equal to what my rent was in my apartment. We literally took an idea and flipped it around to increase my savings rate by a Shit Ton. This is our journey and we get amazing results and keep raising the bar.

I think your RV is plenty gorgeous! TBH, it’s the most trendy and modern-looking RV interior I’ve ever seen. (I’ve seen a lot—we travel with my in-laws in their RV and often get invited into others’ RVs to have a peek!)

I’m definitely feeling some RV envy right now! Thanks for sharing!

Awesome, it actually looks a lot more spacious than what I would have thought. I love how you’ve set it up and especially your living room. I’d love to sit on that sofa and look out of the window, that looks like a really cozy spot.

Funny you say that because that is where I usually sit and just stare out at the sunset.
