RV Lifestyle Thoughts
One cool thing that happened in September is the RV park lowered my rent by about $80 a month. Not only that they back-dated it to when I moved in so my rent this month was cheap. I was paying about $921 a month, which I thought was great. Now I am paying $841 a month. That is a lot cheaper than even a cheap apartment here. This includes all my utilities and I have a dog park, a big pool, a clubhouse, and a small gym.
This month the refresh was washing one side of the RV and re-sealing anything that needed it. I also sanded down two fo my window screens painted them and replaced a few rusted clips on them. I learned that if you don’t do this the screens can become weak and break fairly easily. Two of the window screens in my bedroom broke and I found out the hard way you can’t replace them. You have to buy the whole window at around $250 a window.
I still can’t believe how fast and easily these rigs rust. But to be fair almost the entire 5 years I have lived in it, it has been near the ocean so salt in the air will do that.
It’s just another month in the RV adventure life.
In case you missed it here is last month’s breakdown. Keep on the journey and path!
