RV Lifestyle Thoughts
Been busy this month so have not had time to work on a few things on my “To Do List”. The life in the RV is great. As you can see the longer I stay in it the cheaper it has gotten.
This is because before a big part of the expense was the RV payment and truck payment. Now that they are paid off it’s crazy cheap especially seeing I do this in San Diego! Also living on the beach and downtown. I could easily stay at other RV parks that are much cheaper.
One is $600 a year and you can stay for 14 days at a time and then must leave for 14 days. So for $600 we could live there for 6 months of the year! To be honest that park is not even bad. It has a pool, hot tube and it’s in the woods so very close to trails and great outdoor spots.
The only downside is it’s a bit of a drive for me to go to work and the internet and our phones don’t work great there. The main reason we have not used it is the lack of phone signal and internet. My wife and I both need these to work and work well.
Besides that, I still have some more tweaks to do on the solar. I plan to tackle these projects in the coming weeks if possible. Once the solar tweaks are done I won’t have to get on the roof at every place we go to plug in the wires for our solar setup.
A few things I’m still working off the good old checklist…
- Clean up wires in cargo
- Maybe run wires from the roof through the ceiling
Clean up roof wiresInstall new 200-watt panel
In case you missed it here is last month’s breakdown. Keep on the journey and path!
