CC Hacking
I have talked about CC hacking on my blog before. It has been a while though so I figure it was about time to do a nice update on my CC hacking journey. As of now, I have gotten five different CC’s in this fun and not to well-known hack.
My newest CC’s are from American Express (AMEX) and man let’s just say this is one fucking sweet deal.
I’m sure we all have heard of the AMEX Platinum card If not here is a cool picture of mine!

The Offer
Well back to us discussing this kickass hack! So I decided to put in my application for the AMEX card. I knew the probability of me getting accepted was pretty high seeing I have above an 800 credit score. Let’s dig into what the Amex Platinum Card Offer is right now.
- 50,000 Bonus Points ($5K spend the first 3 months)
- $200 Uber Cash each year
- 5X Membership Rewards
- $200 Airline Fee Credit
- Receive either a $100 statement credit for Global Entry or an $85 credit for TSA Pre✓
- American Express Global Lounge Access
- $100 Saks Fith Ave Credit each year
Now there is an annual fee of $550 for this card. You read that right you must pay $550 a year for this card. So what the hell is the hack? Well if you are active-duty this is a huge secret win for us. That is right AMEX is hooking us active-duty up to the fullest.
Well AMEX waives it’s the annual fee for this card if you are active-duty military!
What Do You Have To Lose
So literally you have nothing to lose by getting this card when you are active duty. Now if you are reading this and you are not active-duty military you must weigh the perks of this card against that annual fee to see if it is worth it or not for you. Because everyone’s situation is different this card might just not be for you. Yet maybe it is for you and you can add it to your FIRE arsenal as I do. If you have problems with debt check out my simple Debt 101 Blueprint that will teach you an easy step-by-step guide to pay off all that consumer debt.
This card is almost as badass as the Avengers!
My Evil Strategy
I make this card work in multiple ways. The first thing is I got the bonus points for spending money I had to anyway. When I got this card it was 70,000 bonus points. That is almost 3 free round trip flights to anywhere in the country if you are flexible. The next way I won with this card is the Uber Cash. I get $15 a month and $20 in December. But I don’t use it for the regular Uber. Instead, we use it for Uber Eats! That’s right we get $15 a month to eat out. I say we because not only do I have this card my wife also got one for free. They also waive authorized users with this sweet deal.
So right now I have 3 free flights and $200 a year for simply owning this card.
Talk about a FIRE hack! This is why I and my wife are so successful on this journey to FIRE. We think outside the box to get above average results. Every choice we make is calculated not just for today but how it will affect us in the future. A simple way to think about this is how me having something as simple as good credit has allowed me to make money every month off of this card. I get paid to keep this card in my wallet.
I kick myself in the ass for not getting the American Express Platinum card sooner! Is credit card hacking the end all be all to build wealth? Fuck no, It’s simply another tool in my toolbox that helps me. Of course, I would not recommend credit cards to those that can’t control spending. Yet for those that can control their spending, this is a huge win. Be on the lookout for some simple Step-By-Step Blueprint Guides on CC Hacking and how you can earn money with little to no work!
