This FIRE countdown tracker is an excellent visual to me! But like many things, It does not account for everything. I officially pulled the FIRE card in 2023 at 38 years old. This tracker only accounts for my investments and what expenses I predict to want to have. Right now without touching any investments, I have roughly three times my expenses in passive income from my military retirement compensation.
I will probably keep this tracker going just for fun. I might play around with the expenses on it as we advance. Right now I have it set for $3,000 a month in expenses. As you can see my current portfolio with a 5% SWR can produce a passive income stream of about $3,179.
