    RV Costs December 2020

    January 15, 2021

First I want to go over a few key points on why I want to do this monthly RV cost review.

    • I have not found any Full-Time RV living cost break downs
    • Keep me accountable
    • Track my true RV costs
    • Show others it might be an option to not only accelerate their FIRE journey but build a more intentional lifestyle.

    RV Lifestyle Thoughts

December was our 1-year mark in the RV!!! Wow, I can’t believe it has already been a full year. Still, really enjoy the lifestyle and still dialing it in so to speak. Still trying to tweet what we own. I have noticed the more intentional I get with what I own the less I really need and want.

No big adventures for December. We do have some plans for January though that I am super excited for! We also did some new upgrades for the solar! We bought a bigger inverter/converter that can handle more power. Also had some wirework done so now we have power to our GFCI outlets. There is still some more solar work I would like to get done. Also finally getting around to buying a new 200-watt panel to replace two 190-watt ones that broke on our last adventure.

    • Clean up wires in cargo
    • Maybe run wires from the roof through the celling
    • Clean up roof wires
    • Install new 200-watt panel

So much work to do and so little time. Most of this is really just cosmetic to make it look cleaner except for the new panel that is still on backorder.

In case you missed it here is last month’s breakdown. Keep on the journey and path!
